Spring break wedding trend for 2015

Spring break stand for everything that is happy, joyful and pretty. Now you can ask me how on earth am I suppose to bring that into a wedding theme. Spring break is one of the easiest colour schemes that you can work with. You can mix and match bright colour flowers - but remember - choose light breezy flowers - not heavy flowers that will be used traditionally at very smart elegant functions.

When you do the arranging of your center pieces remember to keep the style as loose and light hearted as the flowers are. Don't try and make stiff and formal flowers. It must look as if you've picked wildflowers and just put it in a vase.

When you make a wedding posy for the spring break theme try and keep it as loose as possible! For a brilliant article on such a wedding posy go to the following site. http://greenweddingshoes.com/diy-farmers-market-bouquet/

Wedding trends 2015 - Weightless and Timeless flowers

As discussed in previous blogs: one of the main colour schemes for 2015 will be what is called the Weightless and Timeless colour scheme. Soft blues, Soft purples and Soft greens. Do not confuse it with the rich and royal Peacock colour scheme!

For our students out there we have decided to put together a mood board on possibilities for Flower center pieces in that specific colours. These are all ideas that we've picked up from Pinterest - so if you need more ideas - go for it ... Always an excuse to play on Pinterest!

One of the very popular flowers that you will be able to use for this color scheme will be:

Green and Purple/blue Hydrangeas

Delphinium

Roses

Green Daisies

Orchids
